PAST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for design, development, implementation and support of enterprise applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.

  2. Work closely with the business units to help them achieve business objectives.

  3. Alignment, assessment, prioritization, intake and delivery of work with a focus on strategic alignment to Corporate & Functional goals.

  4. Estimate high level based on business requirements and provide options analysis.

  5. Plan and execute system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

  6. Guide the team to implement permanent and repeatable solutions for incidents and problems.

  7. Contribute as an active and engaged member of the team to ensure the success of all enterprise projects.

  8. Direct all application development and support IT resources of the company, in-sourced or outsourced.

  9. Put in place strong process and procedures around change management.

  10. Act as mentor and coach team members (internal and external). Evaluate performance to clearly identify strengths and opportunities.

  11. Manage IT ERP team goals setting, mentoring, coaching, recruiting and performance reviews including

    1. Review and evaluate staff performance and prepares periodic performance appraisals.  Guide and coach staff to maximize performance.   

    2. Determine development needs and work with resources to develop career plans

    3. Contribute to salary planning process    

  12. Oversee the planning, control and management of the Applications, as well as creation and governance of our policies and procedures related to development and operations.

  13. Develop strategic relationships with other team members and partner across the IT team.

  14. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of current issues, in-flight projects and future requirements related to the Oracle EBS system.

  15. Ensure IT application development process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, work requests, QA, etc.) and standards are established, effectively managed and performed.

  16. Provide leadership in planning IT resource requirements to ensure a high level of service and delivery.

  17. Execute the roadmap for implementation and optimization of the global Oracle EBS application platform, architecture, components, ensuring fit to emerging technologies and business requirements.

  18. Provide leadership for robust full lifecycle administration of underlying Oracle technologies (databases, application servers, integration engines / web services) to ensure stability and high availability.

  19. Establish Oracle EBS database and application development/customization policies, procedures, processes and standards.

  20. Facilitate status, performance, and career objective discussions, which include conducting regular leadership meetings with staff and setting clear expectations for all direct reports.

  21. Build and drive a high performing, highly engaged organization with a continuous improvement culture using the right combination of goal setting, metrics, process, talent management, and rewards.

  22. Act as a change agent and passionate advocate for driving business transformation through technology and operational excellence.

  23. Provides status updates to higher management.
